VOLUNTEER WITH SHRINE
Looking for a great way to make new friends and help out the community? Have you ever wanted to go to check out Shrine on a discount? You should volunteer! We have positions available every month. Please click below if you wish to volunteer or have questions!
DESK & ONLINE SUPPORT
Support persons will greet guests, wristbands, and assist the desk staff with whatever they need. Newbies welcome!
TOUR GUIDES
Tour guides are tasked with showing newcomers the venue and briefly introducing them to Shrine’s culture. The only requirement for tours is that we ask veteran volunteers or individuals who have been to Shrine a minimum of 3 times to do tours, simply because it can be difficult to give tours of a place you have not fully experienced.
RUNNERS
As a runner, you will greet guests entering the building and provide them with the appropriate information. No experience is required for this position. Newbies welcome!
EVENT SET UP & TAKE DOWN
These roles require the ability to lift heavy objects. You will be tasked with setting up or removing play stations, moving club furniture, hanging flags, or preparing lighting for the party. Setup starts 2 hours before the event begins. Teardown begins around 30 minutes before the event ends.
DUNGEON MONITORS
To DM for Shrine, you must have current CPR certification, have had DM training/certification (or equivelant experience) and have completed 1 hour of shadowing another DM at Shrine. Please email the Volunteer Director for your city if you need to complete your shadow hour.
