WHAT IS SHRINE?
Shrine is a BDSM, Fetish, and alternative lifestyle organization. Shrine’s aims are to create events to bring the Community together in unison.
Currently, the groups participating in Shrine are: PaW, GWNN, TNG, Austin Area Primals, CTFD, QPT, DAPA, Austin Fetish Flea Market, and Team Dungeon.
These community leaders and organizers are coming together to provide you, Shrine parties. Shrine’s events will be held at colette club in Austin and Houston, and will be held monthly on a Sunday.
What Shrine Parties Provides:
- 7,000-9,000 sq/ft
- various number of beds
- Various couches and social areas
- Non-Alcoholic Beverage Bar
- Non-smoking sexy atmosphere
- Small Lockers (limited supply)
- stripper poles
- Multiple TV’s for visual entertainment
- Balconies for voyeurism (ATX only)
- DJ Booth
- Mood Lighting
- Vendor Locations
- Outdoor Social Area (Smoking allowed)
Shrine supplies various BDSM/Fetish equipment not limited to:
- Multiple St. Andrew crosses
- Spanking benches
- Hard points
- Wrestling mats
- Massage table allocated for fire and medical play, and more.

Rules are subject to change, and you are responsible for maintaining current knowledge of the complete list of rules. By signing the agreement, you agree to adhere to Shrine’s policies and procedures related to attendees. These include, but are not limited to, Shrine’s Policy and Procedure surrounding investigations and Shrine’s response to public health concerns.
- To enter the venue, you must be 18 or older with a current and valid State or Federal ID.
- SHRINE REQUIRES CONSENT FOR ALL FORMS OF CONTACT. You must receive enthusiastic and clearly expressed consent before engaging in any play or act. You must receive permission prior to touching any person(s) or physical property.
- If someone’s property is inhibiting your play or posing a threat to the health and safety of others, seek a Dungeon Monitor (colored vests and/or radios).
- You acknowledge that the event safe word is RED. Saying the word RED during ANY interaction will cease the interaction IMMEDIATELY; if it doesn’t, seek out a Dungeon Monitor.
- If your scene contains elements that appear as coercion or non-concensual, must have Shrine Director approval prior to scene start.
- If you become concerned about the consensual nature or the safety of a scene, do not intervene and seek a Dungeon Monitor.
- You understand that this is a BDSM/KINK/FETISH/SEX POSITIVE event and will have possible exposure to an array of kink-oriented and alternative sexual acts including, but not limited to, rough body play, sadistic and masochistic consensual exchanges, pet play, bodily fluid exchange, blood and impact play of various styles, and/or alarming Noises.
- You also understand that you will be possibly exposed to body parts of individuals of any sex and/or gender or body parts in various sexual methods.
- If you become uncomfortable with the scene, please remove yourself from the area without interrupting the scene.
- SHRINE PROHIBITS hate speech and the use of any imagery, language, or iconography related to hate speech outside of consensual scenes that have been pre-approved by the Production Team.
- All sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions are welcome. You will be respectful and not ASSUME sexual orientations, gender identities, or expressions.
- If you are found in violation of this rule, it will result in a permanent banishment from all Shrine events.
- SHRINE PROHIBITS phones, cameras, pictures, or electronic recording device usage within the club and club restrooms except within approved spaces (Outside, smoking area, photography room/space, and vendor booths).
- Vendor booth, phones are permitted for payment processing only.
- If there is a suspected use of photography or video, a Shrine Agent may ask you to review the device, delete data, or both. Failure to comply will result in immediate removal and permanent banishment from all Shrine events.
- If using bluetooth devices (Headphones, adult novelty products, accessories, etc), phones may not be used in conjunction within the club.
- SHRINE PROHIBITS alcohol, illegal substances (including all varieties of cannabis products), and misuse of any substances that alter your ability to control your faculties. Violating this rule could result in ejection from the club.
- SHRINE PROHIBITS smoking/vaping inside the club. Smoking/Vaping (tobacco/nicotine) is limited to the outside of the club in the designated areas.
- SHRINE PROHIBITS firearms, including replicas, airsoft/nerf, or fake items resembling Firearms.
- Shrine will not permit intentional scat, rainbow, watersports, or gushing blood acts. Please inquire with a Dungeon Monitor or Production Team member for further clarification. If your scene intends for steady blood flow, your scene must be pre-approved by a Shrine Director before the scene starts.
- Primal/rough body play, blood-related play including sharps/needles, fire play, long-ranged impact, and partial or complete rope suspension are permitted only in their designated areas.
- Play is not allowed in the bag area, social areas, or the white furniture.
- No shoes, colored liquids, spray tans, sharp/pointed objects, or food allowed on furniture.
- Tarps/Towels/Puppy Pads/Barriers must be present if there will be any bodily fluids, including, but not limited to, blood, saliva, vaginal secretions, or semen. You will clean up your scene by disinfecting equipment before leaving the station, changing the bedding/barriers, or both.
- Toy bags are to be stored in the toy bag area unless in use for a scene. Do not block the fire exit.
- You will have all the necessary safety equipment and protection for your scenes, or you may be asked to stop the scene until you have all the equipment in place.
- Dungeon Monitors and Shrine Production Team reserves the right to interrupt or stop scenes due to the safety or security of persons, personnel, or event space.
- Any incidents, including but not limited to damage, injury, arguments, violations, etc., must be reported immediately to a DM, the Production Team, or both. For all incidents, the Arbiter will be informed and may reach out to you for an official report.
- All scenes MUST start with all participating parties within the scene space (a scene space is defined as taped-in zone per play space). No other individuals will be allowed to join. DMs will be instructed to stop any individual attempting to join an ongoing scene regardless of the situation.
- Group scenes of 5 or more, or any solo scenes that include sensory deprivation, require a spotter. That spotter cannot be participating in the scene and must be easily identifiable and accessible to DM and Shrine Agents.
- Note: Group scenes of 5 or more people need to be approved by the Shrine Production Team (Entertainment Director) this can be done via email or through conversation with our Entertainment Director on site.
- If you do not gain approval prior to starting, your scene will be stopped and your membership could be placed under review.
- Shrine reserves the right to refuse service and/or revoke membership if found to be violating our policies, procedures, or rules.
- By agreeing to these rules and participating in any Shrine Event, you confirm that you are not under any state or Federal supervision (probation, parole, and/or on a sexual registry).
