Kira
Producer
Kira is one of the Founders and Producer of Shrine. Kira officially joined the community in 2001, after a few years in Kink education, and immediately jumped into a variety of volunteer roles and finds immense value in serving the wider community as a whole. She was a leader for TNG for 4 years, a founder and leader of PaW, serves as Operations Manager for Team Dungeon, and SPLF First Timer Liaison. She identifies as a Leather Woman and a sadistic Top who enjoys anything from RBP, Sharps, and Boot play to sensation and sensory play.
In what little free time she has, she enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, reading, horror culture, and enjoys venturing into the anime communities.
Clever
Volunteer Director
Clever has been a dedicated Shrine volunteer for many years and now serves as Volunteer Director—managing scheduling, coordination, and on-site support to ensure volunteers are prepared and Shrine runs smoothly each month. Active in the Austin community since 2017 and guided by the values of accountability, growth, and service, she believes in contributing time and effort to build and sustain the spaces and experiences we want to see thrive. Her dedication reflects a belief that true leadership is rooted in service, and that thriving communities are built through care, commitment, and collective effort.
Mitchell
Founder & Features Director
Mitchell is one of the Founders of Shrine as well as the Director of Features & Entertainment. He oversees Shrine’s scenes to ensure they help bring a fun atmosphere to Shrine. His job doesn’t stop there! He is also responsible for bringing VIP guests, great audio and visual vibes, and providing the all around environment that makes Shrine’s events the best they possibly can be. Outside of the event, Mitchell is well known for his latex experience and frequently educates across Austin on Latex and Fire.
VintageKinkyDoll
Arbiter
VintageKinkyDoll has been active in the lifestyle for 20 something something years. She is a participating member in the scene of numerous national and international locales, as well as an international presenter and performer for Dollification.
VKD has been a nationally licensed advocate since 2007, as well as a national instructor on consent, negotiations and red flags. She was a Content Academy presenter for two years and teaches how to recognize and give consent for college freshmen. She also volunteers time at women’s shelters and with abuse victims for court advocacy.
She has been the Operations Manager of Shrine HTX and Chairman of the Board for HPEP, as well as an active member in Italia Fetish and local Houston groups. Bringing advocacy, education and leadership experience to the position, VintageKinkyDoll is the current Arbiter for Shrine Events.

Vendor Director
There is a real person behind the idea of “Peter, the Vendor Director at Shrine” and indeed, that person is tasked with scheduling vendors at Shrine. However, that same person would prefer for you imagine a devlishly handsome man staring off longingly into the distance while holding his anxiously attached cat in an ivory tower. Every now and then that same man traverses into the population to brave the drudgery of modern society and to replenish his mental faculties by adventuring social events amongst the populace with wonderfully vague stories.
Ciara
Marketing Director
Ciara serves as Marketing Director, bringing both creativity and strategy to the kink community. With a background in non-profit marketing and nearly a decade of event experience at SXSW, they know how to amplify voices and build strong connections. Ciara is passionate about promoting kink education, showcasing performers, and creating campaigns that celebrate authenticity, visibility, and the vibrancy of our scene. Their work ensures our community is seen, heard, and celebrated.
Will
Webmaster
Will (SoFuckingDaddy) has been active in the Houston BDSM community since 2018. He enjoys teaching and attending classes and panels on kink topics. As the Webmaster for Shrine he is responsible for maintaining and updating the Shrine website.
Lovetroll
Treasurer
Lovetroll began his work as a Dungeon Monitor before assuming the roles of Treasurer and Front of House Director at Shrine. Calling upon his experience in the financial and regulatory reporting sectors, and utilizing his love of researching, problem solving, and providing solutions for complex issues, Lovetroll strives to ensure a positive customer experience while also maintaining Shrine’s financial health.
Outside of Shrine, Lovetroll can be found in attendance at numerous social events and conventions in the Austin area and across the state, typically volunteering as much as possible.
